Lucia Lloyd, Rector

Lucia Lloyd loves doing ministry in such a welcoming
and energetic congregation that has so much courage, dedication,
faith, and joy! She was called to St. Stephen's in 2008 after
three years as the Assistant Rector of St. Thomas's, Richmond.
Before she was ordained a priest, she taught English at Linden
Hall School, St. Margaret's School, and Rappahannock Community
College. She has also served as a chaplain at MCV Hospital. Her
education has included pursuing her love of literature as she
earned a B.A in English from Davidson College, and an M.A in
English from Middlebury College (Bread Loaf School of English).
She combined that with her love of religious studies as she got
an M.A.R in Religion and Literature from Yale Divinity School.
She prepared for ordained ministry with a year of studies at
Princeton Seminary, and an M.Div at Virginia Theological
Seminary. Lucia lives in Tappahannock with her husband Marshall,
who is a Latin teacher at St. Margaret's School, and their two
daughters, ages nine and eleven
Terry
Bain, Office Manager

Terry has been Office Manager at St Stephen's since March 2010.
She is also the church secretary at Warsaw United Methodist
Church where she is an active member, and St. Paul's Episcopal
Church in Millers Tavern. Terry was born in North Carolina
but her home has been the Northern Neck since the age of
four. She lives in Richmond County with her two sons. Adam is a
junior at Randolph-Macon College and Eric is a junior at
Rappahannock High School.
Stacy
Vogel, Music Director

Stacy has been Music Director for St. Stephen’s since January
2012. She shares her love of music and her music ministry with
both St. Stephen’s and Beulah Baptist in Warsaw. She also
fills-in as an organist at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church in
Tappahannock. Stacy graduated from Edinboro University of
Pennsylvania with a B.S. in elementary education and a minor in
music. She plays a number of instruments. Among her most
enjoyable experiences have been playing and directing the Bethel
Untied Methodist Hand Bell Choir, and teaching at Woodland
Academy and Bethel Preschool. Most of her time is spent with
her family including her husband, two daughters (13 and 6), two
dogs, a cat, and a goldfish! |
